Прагматизм

Кубизм – For beginners, choose an object and divide it in recognizable shapes, explore it from different point of views.

Abstraction – Kandinsky mentioned that impressionists use stylisation to represent real things with minimal detail. Text books say that stylisation is a way of showing an object through its primary attributes. Object becomes recognisable. Transformation is an application to that object to show a specific emotional impact. Basically to create an abstract art, we need to look at an object and to begin remove unnecessary details (abstraction), recognize characteristic details (stylisation) and transform these details to show emotional impact (transformation). Transformation is possible if we for example make it bigger or squarer or more repetitive or if we will use different types of visual elements or design principles.
